A personal favorite on the menu is the signature claypot Seolleongtang. The unique cooking method, where the soup is slow-cooked in a claypot, brings out an enhanced depth of flavor. The gentle simmering process ensures that the broth is infused with a rich, milky color, which is the hallmark of a great Seolleongtang. Each spoonful feels like a warm hug, with tender beef that practically melts in your mouth, alongside the subtle depth of the soup. Whether you're a regular or a first-timer, this dish will keep you coming back.

The claypot seals in the flavors, and as you break the surface, you’re greeted with the irresistible scent that promises a comforting meal.

What also sets Claypot Seolleongtang apart is the attention to detail when it comes to freshness. The ingredients are high quality, and the beef is always tender and flavorful. • Solid 4 place. Its weird when restaurant's main dish is their name of business and other dish is better... Like I tried their selleongtang, and this time, their galbitang and bossam. And their bossam is the best dish for me. I think the price plays into this factor and also, when you have legendary restaurant in same city that is known for sellongtang, aka Hanbat, its hard not to compare. Hanbat is much cheaper and better taste. Galbitang, I also prefer the taste of Joongboo, its more savory and cheaper. Piece of this wang galbi has more aesthetic appealing, but little meat, harder to eat, contains more fat. Bossam on the other hand, was very nice and good price also.

  • This might be our go to now for seolluntang and galbitang! The flavors are light and you can season to taste with the salt on the table. The seolluntang was delightful, perfectly balanced and flavorful. It’s pretty big inside, at least much bigger than it looks on the outside. I would guess there are maybe 10 tables? We came around 11:10 and were the only people inside, but within 30 min the restaurant started to fill up! I can see parking getting tight though there’s parking around the back too where the laundromat is. If you ever get desperate, you can also park at the Hmart next door and walk over.

  • I tried the seolongtang. It tastes healthy. I expected it to be a little under-seasoned because I think that's how it is supposed to taste. They provide salt and pepper on the table. The broth itself tastes rich. I added some kimchi juice to it. Overall, it tastes good!

  • A very casual nice little Korean restaurant. The Seolleongtang was pretty good but I have had better in other restaurants (oth cities). It’s a bit weird that the place is called Seolleongtang and featuring Selleongtang, but actually I think the Wang Galbitang was better. The huge beef ribs in it were very satisfying. The chicken gizzards were also pretty good, no gamey tastes. Will come back if in the area.

  • I come here for one of my favorite Korean dishes: the delicious Wang Galbitang (Beef Rib Soup). I could eat this for breakfast, lunch, and dinner! My second favorite is the Modeum Suyuk, which is a huge plate of beef brisket, chuck, tongue, shank, and tendon. It's incredible. These guys do it right with the banchan, and the service is excellent. That’s why we keep coming back. 5 out of 5

  • I genuinely have nothing bad to say about this place. Both times I’ve gone, I’ve had amazing experiences. I highly recommend the yangji seolleongtang! :) I prefer it to the galbi tang. It’s a much milder broth and is still very filling.
